Creamy Homemade Hummus

Better than store-bought. Smooth, rich hummus made from chickpeas, tahini, lemon, and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) Chickpeas, drained (reserve liquid/aquafaba)
  • 1/2 cup Tahini (Sesame Paste)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • Ice Water (secret trick)

Instructions

    Blend tahini and lemon juice in a food processor until creamy.

    Add garlic, cumin, and oil. Blend again.

  3. 3

    Add chickpeas. Blend for 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    With the motor running, slowly drizzle in 2-3 tbsp ice water.

    Blend until incredibly fluffy and smooth.

    Top with olive oil and paprika.
