Classic Cottage Pie
A hearty British classic. Savory ground beef filling topped with golden mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Ground Beef
- 1 Onion, diced
- 2 Carrots, diced
- 1 cup Peas (frozen)
- 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 lbs Potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Butter

Boil potatoes and mash with milk and butter. Set aside.

Sauté onion and carrots in a pan until soft.

Add beef and cook until browned. Drain fat.

Stir in tomato paste, broth, and Worcestershire. Simmer 10 mins.

Stir in peas.

Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish.

Spread mashed potatoes over the top. Rough up with a fork.
