Ingredients

  • 1 box (8.5 oz) cornbread mix (plus ingredients on box)
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 can (4 oz) mild green chilies (optional)
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9x13 pan.

    Prepare cornbread batter. Pour into pan and bake for 15-20 minutes until set.

    Poke holes all over the warm cornbread.
